Don't drop the soap...

Yesterday, four of us went to the neighboring city to pay a visit to
the public bath house. Essentially, it's much as I imagine a prison
shower would be, complete with exposed pipes, broken tiles, and naked
men everywhere. But it did have plenty of hot running water, a very
hot sauna attached to the public shower area, and it was less than a
dollar per hour. My own little slice of heaven. Looking forward to
my next trip - I'm so clean!

Isn't that clean the best feeeling? I went to a Turkish bath in...well, Turkey, and it was just awesome. My friend Laura had a cheap local sauna near her site, but I never found anything like that near mine. They were all more expensive. More expensive area, I guess. Or maybe the people I knew just didn't go. I mean, I had hot water at home, so it wasn't as much of a necessity.

Very cool about your Excel class. Can you give me one when I get home? Maybe then I'd learn to budget...and also cool about the Old Navy factory. I've bought a few things at home that were made in Moldova.

There was a PBS program last night about trafficking, and it featured Moldova a lot because it's one of the biggest suppliers of women now. So, so, so very sad. That's really what I want to get into, once I grow up and have a "career."

Miss you!!!
